
BNP’s Meeting with the Chief Adviser: “Government Working to Hold Elections by December”
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has stated that Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has taken the initiative to hold the national elections by December.
Speaking to journalists on Monday (February 10) night after a meeting at the Chief Adviser’s residence, Jamuna, he shared this information.
He said that the Chief Adviser, along with others present, is making arrangements for a swift election. The Chief Adviser also mentioned that they are working towards holding an election by December. The government will announce the national election roadmap by making the necessary reforms in line with public expectations.
He further stated that they anticipate the election to take place by December, and the public also expects the same.
